THE WEEKEND BEFORE LOCKDOWN

Wir haben Hunger auf mehr Kunst, Kultur und zwischenmenschliche Begegnungen. Doch müssen wir weiterhin ohne Unterlaß die Realität der Pandemie akzeptieren und respektieren.

Respektvoll und vorbildlich waren dann auch die über 400 Besucher*Innen, die am vergangenen Wochenende maskenbedeckt mit gebotenem Abstand und neugierigen Blicken zu unserer BFF-JUMP #09 Ausstellung in Köln kamen. Wir sind sehr froh und dankbar, daß dies noch kurz vor dem sogenannten Lockdown Light möglich war.

Zum hochaktuellen Thema „fragil/e – Zustandsbeschreibung einer Gesellschaft“ zeigten wir – 24 tolle und großartige BFF Photograph*Innen – unsere Sicht der Dinge. Mein extra für diese Ausstellung konzipiertes Werk mit dem Titel „GETESTET“ hatte somit Premiere und wurde von zahlreichen Betrachter*Innen gefeiert.

Ein großes Dankeschön an die Macher von BFF-JUMP #09 Roland Breitschuh, Jost Hiller und Felix Brauner! Es war mir ein Fest! Kommt gut durch den Winter, damit wir hoffentlich bald wieder Großes und Großartiges präsentieren und erleben können!

We are hungry for more art, culture and interpersonal encounters. But we must continue to accept and respect the reality of the pandemic without ceasing.

The more than 400 visitors who came to our BFF-JUMP # 09 exhibition in Cologne last weekend, masked and with the necessary distance and curious glances were also respectful and exemplary. We are very happy and grateful that this was possible shortly before the so-called Lockdown Light.

On the very topical topic „fragile / e – description of the state of a society“ we – 24 great and great BFF photographers – showed our view of things. My work entitled „TESTED“, specially designed for this exhibition, had its premiere and was celebrated by numerous viewers.

A big thank you to the makers of BFF-JUMP # 09 Roland Breitschuh, Jost Hiller and Felix Brauner! It was a feast for me! Get through the winter safely, so that we can hopefully soon present and experience great and great things again!
