FRAGIL/E – ZUSTANDSBESCHREIBUNG EINER GESELLSCHAFT

In einer sich dramatisch zuspitzenden Situation, in welcher wir erneut zugunsten der Gesundheit aller auf vieles verzichten müssen, findet am kommenden Wochenende unsere BFF – Ausstellung in Köln statt. Zusammen mit 23 weiteren tollen und wunderbaren BFF-Kolleg*Innen gibt es von mir ein brandneues Werk zu sehen – und natürlich zu hören. ­

Unser Thema ist „fragil/e – Zustandsbeschreibung einer Gesellschaft“.

„Ein kleines Virus hat unsere scheinbar stabile Gesellschaft ins Wanken gebracht, Strukturen der Gesellschaft und der Wirtschaft erschüttert. Was Eurokrise und Klimawandel bislang nicht gelang, schaffte Corona: Die Politik vertraut auf die Wissenschaft und lässt sich von ihr leiten. Doch die Zerbrechlichkeit unseres Systems wird sichtbar, während andere ungelöste Probleme in den Hintergrund treten. Wir setzen uns damit auseinander.“

Selbstverständlich unterliegt die Ausstellung wie alle privaten und öffentlichen Veranstaltungen in Köln der Corona-Schutz-Verordnung der Stadt Köln. Der BFF ist verpflichtet diese einzuhalten und verweißt auch im Vorfeld auf die AHA-Regel:

Wir freuen uns auch und gerade in dieser für alle Menschen schwierigen Zeit auf ein schönes Kunst- und Kulturerlebnis. Die Vernissage findet am 30. Oktober ab 18 Uhr statt.

Am Samstag, den 31. Oktober ist die Ausstellung von 10:00 bis 22:00 Uhr geöffnet und am Sonntag, den 1. November von 10:00 bis 16:00 Uhr.

In a dramatically worsening situation in which we again have to forego many things in favor of everyone’s health, our BFF exhibition will take place in Cologne next weekend. Together with 23 other great and wonderful BFF colleagues there is a brand new work from me to see – and of course to hear.

Our topic is „fragile / e – description of the state of a society“.

„A small virus has shaken our apparently stable society, shaken structures of society and the economy. What the euro crisis and climate change have not succeeded so far, Corona achieved: politics trusts in science and is guided by it. But the fragility of our system becomes visible, while other unsolved problems take a back seat. We are dealing with it.“

Of course, like all private and public events in Cologne, the exhibition is subject to the Corona Protection Ordinance of the City of Cologne. The BFF is obliged to comply with these and also refers to the rules in advance:

We are looking forward to a wonderful art and cultural experience, especially in this difficult time for everyone. The vernissage will take place on October 30th from 6 p.m.

On Saturday, October 31st, the exhibition will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Sunday, November 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
