FILMHUNGER!

Nein! Dies ist keine romantisierende Erinnerung an die ach so guten alten Zeiten.

Aber ja! Ich hab` tatsächlich Hunger auf Filme. Meine extremen Langzeitbelichtungen von bis zu mehreren Stunden entstehen ausnahmslos auf Film. Entweder mit der Sinar P2 im Format 4×5 inch oder mit meiner Hasselblad 503 CW.

Die analoge Photographie hat den großen Vorteil, daß keine Software abstürzen kann. Keine Batterie muss plötzlich gewechselt werden. Und die klimatischen Bedingungen wie enorme Kälte im Winter oder Hitze im Sommer stellen absolut kein Problem dar.

Nicht die Technik beherrscht den Photographen, sondern ich beherrsche meine Kamera.

No! It is not a romanticizing reminder of the oh so good old days.

And yes! I’m actually hungry for films. My extreme long exposures of up to several hours are all made on film. Either with the Sinar P2 in 4×5 inch format or with my Hasselblad 503 CW.

The advantage of analog photography is that no software can crash. No battery needs to be changed suddenly. And the climatic conditions such as extreme cold in winter or heat in summer are absolutely no problem.

It is not the technology that dominates the photographer, but I master my camera.
