INTERVIEW MIT #FacesOfPhotography

Zu Jahresbeginn wurde ich von der wunderbaren „Redakteurin, Kuratorin, Projektmanagerin und Agentin, die zwischen Fotografierenden und Bildsuchenden vermittelt“, Edda Fahrenhorst um ein Interview gebeten.

Pandemiebedingt hat Edda auf ihrer Website www.fotogloria.de die #FacesOfPhotography gestartet. Ihr Antrieb ist die Sichtbarmachung der Fotografen und Fotografinnen während der anhaltenden Krise. Wie es ihnen geht. Wie sie die Zeit überstehen. Wie sie reagieren und kreative Lösungen für ihre jeweilige Situation finden. So ist im Verlauf der vergangenen Monate ein höchst interessanter Einblick in die internationale vielfältige Fotoszene entstanden.

At the beginning of the year I was asked for an interview by the wonderful „editor, curator, project manager and agent who mediates between photographers and people looking for pictures“, Edda Fahrenhorst.

Due to the pandemic, Edda started #FacesOfPhotography on her website www.fotogloria.de. They are driven by making the photographers visible during the ongoing crisis. How are they doing. How they survive the time. How they react and find creative solutions for their respective situation. In the course of the past few months, a highly interesting insight into the diverse international photo scene has emerged.
