Endlich ist es soweit:

Über 50 Fotografen und Filmgestalter des BFF Berlin – Berufsverbands freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter e.V. – mit Gästen aus ganz Deutschland führen die seit 2015 jährlich an wechselnden Orten in Berlin stattfindende Ausstellungsreihe „Triebwerk“ fort.

Die Ausstellung im Simsonweg zwischen Brandenburger Tor und dem Reichstagsgebäude ist offzieller Teil des Europäischen Monats der Fotografie EMOP.

Die Vernissage ist am 02.10.20 ab 18:00 Uhr – am selben Abend der Eröffnung des EMOPs in der Akademie der Künste am Pariser Platz – und läuft das Wochenende bis 04.10.20.

THEMA: CLOSE BY – DAS MITEINANDER 2020

Kontaktsperren wurden verhängt und wieder gelockert, die Wahrnehmung von Körper und Körperkontakt zum neu zu erschließenden Feld. Jede Zoom-Konferenz und jeden Gang vor die Tür begleitete das Gefühl, nur noch beinahe zusammen zu sein. Mit dem Schließen von Grenzen kam die europäische Idee physisch erlebbar zum Erliegen. Pandemie: ein Ausnahmezustand, der neue Realitäten schafft.

Wie wird sich das Miteinander, vom persönlichen Umfeld bis hin zu globalen Zusammenhängen, verändern? Diese Frage mit vielen Facetten wird uns überall auf der Welt weiter beschäftigten. Sie zu visualisieren, zu dokumentieren, zu visionieren ist das Thema der Ausstellung close by in der Reihe BFF Triebwerk.

Dabei ist der Gedanke des Miteinanders bereits tief verankert in der DNA des BFF Berufsverband Freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter: Eine wertvolle Vielfalt mit 500 Mitgliedern, die keinen Sieger sucht und somit viele Verlierer produziert, sondern wo Neugierde auf das diverse Andersartige im Vordergrund steht, ein wechselseitiges Entdecken geprägt von Interesse und Respekt.

Finally the time has come:

Over 50 photographers and film designers from the BFF Berlin – professional association of independent photographers and film designers – with guests from all over Germany have continued the series of exhibitions „Triebwerk“, which has been taking place every year since 2015 at different locations in Berlin.

The exhibition in Simsonweg between the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag building is an official part of the European Month of Photography EMOP.

The vernissage is on October 2nd, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. – the same evening of the opening of the EMOP in the Akademie der Künste am Pariser Platz – and runs the weekend until October 4th, 2020.

Contact barriers were imposed and then loosened, the perception of body and physical contact with the new field to be opened up. Every Zoom conference and every step outside the door accompanied the feeling of almost being together. With the closing of borders, the European idea came to a standstill in a physical experience. Pandemic: a state of emergency that creates new realities.

How will the togetherness, from the personal environment to the global context, change? This multi-faceted question will continue to occupy us all over the world. Visualizing, documenting and envisioning them is the theme of the close by exhibition in the BFF Triebwerk series.

The idea of togetherness is already deeply anchored in the DNA of the BFF Professional Association of Free Photographers and Film Designers: A valuable diversity with 500 members that is not looking for a winner and thus produces many losers, but where curiosity about the diverse is in the foreground, a reciprocal one Discovering shaped by interest and respect.
